Yellow Horizon
Dana Point Beach, California
Almost other worldly looking during sunset. During the right time of year, the sunsets here are spectacular. My wife and I would spend hours and hours before sunset watching and listening to the musical sounds of the ocean as the waves would crash upon the shoreline.
Directions: From Los Angeles, take the Santa Ana Freeway and go south on I-5 for 57.7 miles to Pacific Coast Highway 1 and go north for 2 miles to Dana Point Harbor Dr. and go left approximately 1 mile. Continue past Heritage Park and parking is on the left near the Tall Ship docked at the harbor, Dana Cove is just a short walk from the parking area. Photo © copyright by Erik and Melissa Barnes.
