Pre-Sunrise in the Sawtooth's
Little Redfish Lake - Sawtooth National Forest
This image is the very first stage of sunrise. Approximately 20 minutes before the sun breaks the horizon, you will get a pre-sunrise color in the atmosphere. The color wont last long and won't be very vivid at this stage. The color will soon disappear and just before the sun breaks the horizon, the color will start to appear again depending on atmospheric conditions. Photo © copyright by Erik and Melissa Barnes.
